“Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli was convicted of securities fraud Friday, and people online want him to know that he deserves it. Shkreli was convicted of two counts of securities fraud, and one count of conspiracy to commit securities fraud.
Additionally, he was found not guilty on five other charges.
As you can probably imagine, people were pretty happy to hear of Shkreli’s conviction. And considering the things the guy’s done, like jacking up the price of a drug used by AIDS patients, and violating Twitter’s harassment policy to post a creepy collage of Teen Vogue editor Lauren Duca, no one should be surprised.
Duca slammed Shkreli in a tweet after the news broke.
And another one.
Oh, it’s from my hit children’s book, “The Little Pharma Dick That Couldn’t”

But Duca is far from the only person revelingin schadenfreudeincluding those upset over Shkreli’s $2 million purchase of the only copy of Wu-Tang’s Once Upon A Time In Shaolin.
Martin Shkreli at prison commissary:
“Can I buy shower sandals?”
“That’ll be $700”
“I thought it was $13.50”
“The price suddenly went up”

If Martin Shkreli is getting imprisoned can we get that Wu-Tang album up as public property. Asset forfeiture or whatever

It’s good to see the country come together in agreement that we all want Martin Shkreli to go to jail

The thought of Martin Shkreli going to prison gives me the warm fuzzies.

The most important question is who gets Martin Shkreli’s Wu-Tang album?

Others were more straightforward about what the conviction means.
Martin Shkreli faces justice for fraud. US hates him for a different reason: price-gouging sick people. THAT justice requires policy change.

As is customary in split verdict cases, both Martin Shkreli and the government declared victory.

And honestly, we could go on for hours posting all of the amazing reactions to Shkreli’s conviction, but sometimes simplicity is best.

We feel the same way.
