‘SNL’ pits Oscar winners against Oscar losers on ‘Family Feud’

Saturday Night Live‘s semi-frequent send-up of the game show Family Feud embraced a perfect twist this week: Oscar winners vs. Oscar losers.

Frances McDormand (Kate McKinnon), Guillermo Del Toro (Beck Bennett), Allison Janney (Heidi Gardner) and Jordan Peele (Chris Redd) line up on one side, and Common (Sterling K. Brown), Sally Hawkins (Melissa Villaseñor), Willem Dafoe (Alex Moffat) and Timothée Chalamet (Pete Davidson) line up on the other. The sketch is mostly just a parade of one-liner impressions, but they’re all good ones.

If you’re struggling to follow the Jordan Peele gag about sketch comedy, here’s a fun fact: Kenan Thompson, who plays host Steve Harvey on SNL‘s Feud, joined the sketch comedy series in 2003. He’s been on the show for 15 years, longer than any other cast member.
