Despite claiming last month that he was not going to get any more plastic surgery, the Human Ken Doll has begun his alleged transformation into Barbie. He isn’t transitioning into a woman because he has gender dysphoria, but because his “bits have begun to fall off”.
Thirty-four-year-old Rodrigo Alves said that another motivation behind his sex change is that he would rather be a “sexy old lady” like Caitlyn Jenner, rather than a “saggy old man”. Now his transformation into the world’s most famous plastic fantastic doll has begun. On Friday of last week, the Human Ken Doll had his 59th cosmetic procedure – a hair transplant. The procedure took a gruelling eight hours, and it’s safe to say that it was completely unnecessary as Alves already had a good hairline for a man his age. However, Alves has said that since he begun to bleach his hair blond, his hairline has receded. To put himself into the best possible position for becoming Barbie later in life, he decided to make sure that he had a suitable hairline with the $25K procedure. In an interview with the MailOnline, Alves said that his main aim from having the surgery was to “look younger” and a more feminine looking hairline would help him to achieve this.
“I don’t think that I look like a masculine guy, and once my new hair grows I will be more delicate looking,” he said.
“There is a saying which states that blonds have more fun,” Alves said in his interview with the MailOnline. “Since going blond I have got lots of attention from guys and girls, but after bleaching my hair I started to lose it from my hairline.
“I guess that it happens with most people when they bleach their hair but being myself, I always try to find a quick fix.”
Explaining how the painful procedure worked, Alves said, “I flew to Los Angeles to have 3000 grafts of implants alongside a high dose of stem cells and PRP injections. I asked Dr Kahen and his team to lower my hair line, as it will make me look younger.” “Once the hair grows fully it will look like a female hairline. Men of my age [don’t] have a teenage hairline anymore.” “I have always done what makes me happy, and I would never follow a beauty trend set by society,” Alves added. “I am unique, and I will remain this way for as long as I live.” To date, Alves has spent over $500K on cosmetic procedures which include 10 nose jobs, silicone chest implants, and eight-pack abs. But this is the first surgery Alves has had in a bid to feminise himself in preparation for a future sex change. “I’m continuing to feminise my appearance slowly rather than doing everything at once like Caitlyn Jenner,” Alves said, according to the Mirror. “I tell my close friend Marcela Iglesias from the Plastics of Hollywood that we will both go to Argentina as females in beautiful gowns and play poker.” The Mirror reported Alves saying that he is already being mistaken for a woman:
“I am an exotic looking man, I have a mixture of male and female features already. Quite often in public I do get mistaken for being a woman, I have very delicate features and look different. Even in the toilets, while washing my hands guys see me and think they are in the wrong bathroom.”
Dr John Kahen has said Alves will begin to see the results of the hair transplant within a few months. Alves has said that he expects to complete his transition into a woman when he is in his 50s.
