As we reported, Donald Trump couldn’t help but throw out a racial slur yesterday when he referred once again to Elizabeth Warren as “Pocahontas” — while honoring Navajo WWII veterans in the White House. Idiot.
After POTUS received a ton of backlash from basically everyone in America, his second son, Eric Trump, tried to step in to defend his father — but it made no sense at all!
Eric tried to point out the “irony” of an ABC employee calling Donald’s slur offensive when they belong to an organization “whose parent company Disney has profited nearly half a billion dollars on the movie Pocahontas.”
The irony of an ABC reporter (whose parent company Disney has profited nearly half a billion dollars on the movie “Pocahontas”) inferring that the name is “offensive” is truly staggering to me.

Um. But… Does he know the Disney movie is about the actual person Pocahontas?
They weren’t using it as a joke to make fun of someone, it was a biopic celebrating the historical figure… We mean… WHAT IS HE EVEN TALKING ABOUT??
Whew, Saturday Night Live is going to have a field day with this one!
Obviously the comment opened the door for laughter and criticism online — ch-ch-check out some of the best responses (below)!
What’s staggering to me is a sea cucumber has more brain cells than you.

That’s not irony. It’s a non-sequitor.
The movie was a dramatization about an actual historical figure.
Your bigoted father uses the term as a racist slur against a sitting Senator whenever he thinks about or talks to Native Americans.

Eric Trump doesn’t understand the difference between Disney making a movie about the actual Pocahontas, and his dad calling a white senator “Pocahontas.” https://t.co/0IW4GqKdrW
